Well, well - it seems the Empire isn't the only faction determined to conquer whatever's set forth before them!
[...Oh, good, someone else new in the Rocket base. At least he took the time to figure the filters out and lock this down to the Rocket channel rather than just screaming like hell at everybody on the network at large, and he's one of the few recent ones who isn't celebrating his arrival by throwing a grunt down a hallway. Seems someone else is going to have to carry on that proud tradition today.
Rather, Jinnai is sitting in one of those nondescript rooms in the base, 'Gear propped up on the desk in front of him; he's got the Standard Reading MaterialsTM spread out in front of him, though he doesn't seem to be paying them any mind, and he's grinning foxlike, as though he knows something you don't.
...He probably doesn't, given that he just got here, but you never know.
Either way, his hair looks pretty awesome if he does say so himself, and he's made sure that school uniform he's always wearing is straightened up; he's got several medals pinned to the left side, and while they...definitely look military in origin, it's a little hard to tell exactly what sort of military they even came from. They're not from any Earth-based countries, that's for sure.]
To whomever's running this organization: you've made a bold choice in adding me to your ranks - a decision that can only benefit both of us, in the long-term! For I am indeed the Messenger sent by God - one who's destined to lead armies to victory and defeat all who lay in your path or stand in your way; as the future ruler of the world of El-Hazard and the current ruler of Shinonome High School, you have my word that your conquest will be a glorious one!
And to the rest of you...I'd like to speak to those that are being added to my ranks. It's a prestigious honor, and one that I look forward to bestowing on those who are interested in the victory we all deserve!
[...It's going to be a long couple of weeks for whatever high-ranking individual is responsible for training this guy.
It's going to be a really long couple of weeks.]
[ACTION]
[There are some parts of the Radio Tower that are open to the general public, that won't get too many strange looks if someone is up there; the observation deck overlooking Goldenrod is one of them.
It's a nice city, really, completely unlike Roshtaria or anything in the Empire; it isn't like Tokyo, either, outside of a few very superficial similarities that really should be disregarded in favor of the big picture.
So this really is a new world, huh.
The snow's been coming down all day; it's still falling now. Kinda pretty, maybe, if someone's interested in that sort of thing; Jinnai, really, is not.
What he's interested in is the scope of it, the expanse of land beyond the horizon; they're high enough up to make it clear that there's nothing but ocean to one side of this city, but the other three...
Well, he'll have to see it whenever he can.]
Just look at it, Umihei.
[The Heracross at his side offers a noise that...might be considered assenting if one were to tilt their head and squint; Jinnai doesn't seem interested in doing either, just firing back a response colored with the sort of mildly impatient tone that one might adopt around a particularly stupid dog.]
I know you're already looking at it; that isn't the point.
[More...noises?]
What we're going to do with it.
[...This is going to pretty much be par for the course here, isn't it.
Either way, he doesn't really seem to mind; if you're in Goldenrod and choosing the Tower as your get-the-hell-out-of-the-cold location of choice, you're more than welcome to run into him up there; if nothing else, the scenery is...nice, even if the company is not, per se.]
